DESIGN PROCESS

1. INITIAL MEETING

We view the property, talk about your project, expectations, and vision for your space. If the relationship is a good fit for both parties, we'll prepare the contract. Once we receive the signed contract and initial payment; the process begins.

4. DESIGN
DEVELOPMENT

If the project is a renovation or new build, we focus first on all elements that impact the construction, from tile and flooring to plumbing and lighting. At the end of this phase, we will have the floor plans, elevations, finishes palette, 3D Axon, materials developed into final drawings from the approved design concept.

2. PROJECT KICK-OFF

We explore and brainstorm, learn everything about you. It includes discussing the project in detail, documenting, identifying your style preferences and ideas, followed by site visits to measure and photograph. We establish a preliminary budget and obtain any existing architectural plans.

5. CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

When the construction take place, we work in the best interest of our client and will visit the jobsite at intervals to ensure the design is being executed as planned.  Muii Design will work with your contractor to troubleshoot and answer questions that arise through the process.

3. SCHEMATIC DESIGN

Our team starts to refine the interior design concept and creative direction. Then draw sketches and outline floor plans to clarify the design intent. Finally, we select finishes for the different elements. At this stage we are ready to present our initial design to you for your approval before moving to next step.

6. INSTALLATION &STYLING

All furniture installation, styling and curated process will take place. Our team will do a final walk-through with you, then we will schedule a meeting to take professional photos. At the end of the process, we will have a unique well-curated space for you to enjoy.
